Do I need to install any devices to receive DDD files?+
No extra devices are needed if you already use the Navifleet system, as the required communication module is already fitted in the vehicle. The Tachograph 2.0 module works fully remotely and downloads DDD files (from the tachograph and the driver card) automatically. This greatly simplifies the process and removes the need for manual downloads. If you do not use Navifleet yet, the vehicle has to be fitted with a suitable device that enables remote downloads.
Is data also downloaded when the vehicle is away from base?+
Yes, DDD files are downloaded remotely, wherever the vehicle is. The Tachograph 2.0 module gives you access to the data even when the vehicle is away from the company base or out of range of a stationary reader.
What if the vehicle has no signal or is temporarily offline?+
If the vehicle has no signal or is temporarily offline, the system automatically retries the download as soon as the connection is restored. You do not have to worry about losing important DDD files – the process is fully automated.
How soon after the download do the files reach my inbox?+
Once the DDD files have been downloaded successfully, the system sends the data package to the specified e-mail address within a few minutes.
Does the data meet ITD and PIP requirements?+
Yes, the Tachograph 2.0 module downloads and archives DDD files in line with the current regulations of the Road Transport Inspectorate (ITD) and the National Labour Inspectorate (PIP). All data is complete, secure and ready for use in settlements and inspections.
Is the service expensive?+
Navifleet's remote tachograph download service starts at PLN 48 net per vehicle per month. The price has two components: around PLN 35 net for basic telematics and PLN 13 net for the remote tachograph download module. That gives you full control over the data with no manual downloads and minimal effort.
