How the driver switches mode

OPTION 1 Button in the vehicle A physical switch by the ignition — one press before a private trip.
OPTION 2 Mobile app The driver changes mode in the Navifleet app on their own phone.
OPTION 3 Work schedule Trips outside working hours are marked as private automatically.

Frequently asked questions about private mileage

Can I see the vehicle's location in private mode?

No. Once private mode is on, the system records only the number of kilometres driven. The route, waypoints and current position are not visible in the app or in reports.

How do we settle an employee's private kilometres?

The monthly report shows the total private kilometres for each user. Once you set a rate per kilometre, the system calculates the amount to deduct and lets you export the statement to XLS or CSV for HR.

Does the module cost extra?

No. Private mode is part of the mandatory GPS tracking module (PLN 35 net per vehicle per month), together with zones, route history and fleet reports.
