To give transport companies the greatest possible convenience in managing their own fleets, when building the Navifleet® system we adopted a strategy that allows for a range of useful integrations with other transport applications. It has always been known that the best results come from teamwork, which is why our system is prepared for Navifleet integrations with almost any IT system.
Navifleet integrations with freight exchanges make it quick to win loads
Freight exchanges are the basic working tool of almost 100% of Polish transport companies. The best-known freight exchanges in Poland are Trans.eu and TimoCom. These exchanges ensure smooth communication between the shipper and the carrier. Using the Navifleet® integration with the Trans and TimoCom exchanges, the carrier has access to the current position of its vehicles in real time directly from the freight exchange. This makes fleet management based on searching for available loads closest to the vehicle child's play. Simply activate the integration in the Navifleet® system and, once logged in to your account on the exchange, work only with transport offers whose starting point (loading) is a short distance from the vehicle.

Navifleet integrations with forwarding software: the way to easier fleet management
Large international road freight forwarders work with a huge number of carriers. The market for vehicle tracking systems is so diverse that almost every carrier has a different tracking system. This was the problem faced by the Danish company GateHouse, which contacted us last year at the request of the international forwarder DHL. One of our large customers, whose fleet exceeds 50 trucks, signed a subcontracting agreement for transport services with DHL. A required element of the agreement was connecting our trackers to the IT system that DHL's forwarders use every day. The IT system was administered by the aforementioned GateHouse, which acted as the fleet systems integrator for DHL's forwarding operation. Preparing our fleet management system for the integration and enabling the forwarders to track subcontractors' vehicles went very quickly. Over the several years our company has existed, forwarders such as LKW Walter and Duvenbeck have come to us with a similar problem, and we delivered their integrations just as efficiently.

Navifleet integration with 4Trans makes minimum wage settlement easier
4Trans is a respected program in the transport industry for analysing driver working time based on DDD files. The mere fact that the Road Transport Inspectorate in Poland uses it during inspections reflects how advanced it is. Besides working time analysis, it also allows the minimum wage of truck drivers to be settled. Without a GPS tracking system, this work involves tediously determining by hand the times at which borders were crossed between countries covered by minimum wage rules. The Navifleet® system has a report containing automatically detected border crossings. The import we recently built makes it possible to transfer data on the entire fleet for a selected time range into 4Trans as a single file. Manually entering the foreign sections of the routes driven in a month into 4Trans takes around 30 minutes per vehicle. For 10 vehicles that is 5 hours, and for a fleet of 50 vehicles 25 hours, or just over 3 working days. That is exactly how much Navifleet® customers save by using the import of foreign sections for minimum wage settlement.

Integrations with fleet systems do a great deal to make fleet management more comfortable. The systems described above are just a few of the most popular integrations we have delivered. Every integration brings a real improvement to our customers' work; we keep this in mind and are always happy to discuss it. We believe this allows our GPS vehicle tracking system to deliver far more benefits, and its usefulness to rise well above the level offered by standard competing systems whose main advantage is tracking a dot on a map.
