"Profession: Fleet Manager" – a report from Navifleet!

This article covers Polish regulations and market practice. The principles apply elsewhere, but check the rules in your country.

For years we have been working with companies that run their own vehicle fleets. We not only constantly observe the changes taking place in fleets, but become part of them: providing fleet managers with tools that streamline fleet management and respond to growing needs. Wanting to learn more about fleet managers – and also to give them information on the state of the profession in Poland – we conducted research and produced the report "Profession: Fleet Manager. Current trends in the work of a fleet manager".

Aims of the report

In preparing the report, we set ourselves the goal of gathering cross-sectional information about the fleet manager profession. We wanted to examine various areas related to the work of people in this position. We looked, among other things, at fleet managers' pay, their duties and their opinions on promotion opportunities and job satisfaction. We were particularly interested in the problems fleet managers face – we considered diagnosing them helpful in finding ways to improve the work of those managing fleets. We gathered this information through research, surveys and – to supplement our knowledge and examine the most important issues more closely – personal interviews with fleet managers.
