Changes to the SENT system from 1 November 2021
Updated: 5 April 2022
From 1 November 2021, the Ministry of Finance changed the rules for supplying data to the SENT system.
What is changing?
- Carriers no longer have to register ZSL devices on the PUESC website using the SENT 470 and SENT 472 forms. Before the changes, the carrier had to register their ZSL devices themselves using the SENT 470 form. Devices were edited and removed using the SENT 472 form. After the changes, this task is taken over by the ZSL Operator (i.e. the telematics device provider). The device provider's role is to supply, with every device, a business number, which must be used in transport declarations.
- In the SENT system, use only the business numbers received from the ZSL device provider.
The previous business numbers assigned during self-registration on the puesc.gov.pl portal are no longer active and the SENT system will no longer link GPS data from a transport to them. Nothing needs to be done about the old device business numbers in the SENT system. The SENT system will deregister them itself on 31 October 2021.
What is not changing?
- Controlling the transfer of data from Navifleet to SENT.
As before, GPS data transmission to the SENT system is switched on and off from the E-TOLL/SENT DEVICES tab. You will find details on controlling the transfer of data to SENT in the article "How to start and control communication with SENT in the Navifleet app?".
