Manual odometer update
Updated: 20 August 2026
If the telematics is connected to the CAN bus, the odometer reading can be read automatically. For vehicles without such a connection, drivers can submit odometer readings themselves, which allows the vehicle's mileage record to be completed automatically.
If GPS tracking is running in the vehicles, check whether the system supports automatic odometer reading.
Configuring mileage sources for a vehicle
First make sure the vehicles have the correct mileage sources set. In the details of each vehicle you can specify whether the vehicle has an odometer, an engine hours meter or both. You can do this directly when adding the vehicle or later, by editing the vehicle data.

Odometer readings on the vehicle list
You will find the latest odometer reading on the vehicle list.
Odometers and engine hours meters are displayed in separate columns.

A red calendar icon next to the odometer reading means the last reading is older than 30 days. Hover over the reading to check its date.

Click the reading to display the change history with the date, time and author of the entry.
Updating the odometer reading in the web system
If the vehicle user has not entered the odometer reading in the app, you can enter it yourself (also in the browser version of the system):
Go to the vehicle list.
Click the last known mileage value.
The mileage history will open.
Click the Enter reading button.
Enter the correct odometer value and save the changes.
