Reporting defects during the vehicle handover process
In the Navifleet mobile app we have added a new step that allows defects to be reported when a vehicle is issued or returned.
Why does it matter?
the driver can report a problem they noticed straight away,
the fleet administrator sees the vehicle's condition in real time,
the handover process is more transparent and secure.
How does the new feature work?
During the vehicle handover, an “Add new defect” option appears. The driver selects the problem, adds a description and photos, and the data automatically goes into the handover report.
The report contains:
photos of the vehicle's condition (interior and bodywork),
reports of technical defects,
signatures of the parties.

- In the report details in the web app (Inspections -> Handover reports) we now display the list of documents signed when the vehicle was issued.
- We have added the display of handover notes on the Inspections -> Handover reports list.
- We have separated the entry categories in the scheduler and added an icon indicating upcoming and overdue deadlines.
- We have added the Fleet instructions tab in the mobile app.

We have added the checklists feature.
Added notifications about new damage to all administrators, moderators and moderators+ who have the given vehicle shared with them.
Displayed new columns on the vehicle list: Checklist status, Number of new damage reports, Date of last handover report.
Allowed changing the person receiving the vehicle in the last step of the handover report.
Allowed people with the Vehicle user role to add and edit scheduler entries (for the vehicles they use only).
Minor bug fixes.
