What's new report - 2024

Updated: 22 May 2025

23 December 2024

  1. "Damage" module
We have added electronic records of vehicle damage. All damage reported during vehicle issue, use and return can now be found in one convenient damage module.

  2.  Collaboration mode when creating a report
A driver or fleet coordinator can now review a report started by another person and complete or approve it on their own smartphone.

  3. Minor improvements and fixes:

    1. Faster loading of vehicle and user lists in the mobile app,

    2. Users with the Vehicle user and Moderator roles can now choose photos from the gallery when adding damage.

    3. Minor visual fixes on the home screen of the mobile app.

10 December 2024

  1. Vehicle list export
An attachment to an invoice, a vehicle list for a request for quotation, or perhaps a fleet structure report for the board? You can handle all of these, and many other scenarios, with our new feature - Exporting the vehicle list to a file.

  2. Usage period export
The end of the year is a time for summaries. If you need to summarise your fleet's activity in any period of the year, the fleet usage history export gives you a bird's-eye view of how your fleet is used.

  3. More variables supported in document templates

We have more than doubled the pool of supported variables you can use in document templates. Be sure to check the current list of supported variables.

  4. Adding many scheduler entries at once

You can now create an entry and assign it to many vehicles or users at once. This makes work much easier when the cars in your fleet have similar service intervals or you order them in batches, so that insurance policy or MOT dates fall on the same day.

  5. More employment types
We have renamed the "Employment type" field to "Cooperation type" and added two new options - Exclusive rental and Shift work (50/50).

  6. More identity document types
We have split the "Driving licence number" field into two - "Document type" and "Document number". You can now enter not only a driving licence number, but also an ID card, passport or residence card number.

    Note!

We store these document numbers in encrypted form, which makes them doubly protected against unauthorised persons!

7. Minor fixes and improvements:

  • shortcut to create a handover in the vehicle details

  • more intuitive progress bars in the scheduler

  • fixed errors when adding scheduler entries

  • fixed errors when editing companies

  • the message "Invalid login or password" is shown after a failed login attempt

4 November 2024

  1. User permissions.
We are introducing the ability to assign users different roles, which define what they can and cannot do within the app.

  2. Migration of fleet hubs to groups
Single and bulk management of groups of vehicles and users, to make it easier to reproduce your organisational structure and manage access to the app. You do not need to do anything; we will automatically migrate your fleet hubs to groups.

  3. Dynamic filtering of vehicle and user lists
We are adding intuitive filtering by table column headers. All Skodas older than 3 years? Two clicks.

  4. Document templates moved to settings
We are making room in the top menu for new modules and moving document templates to the organisation settings.

  5. Bulk adding of photos from the gallery when creating a report
You can now complete a handover report even faster, because we have added support for choosing several photos from the phone gallery at once.

  6. Vehicle and handover files shown to administrators
From now on, in the details of every vehicle, administrators will see the files added to vehicles and all documents signed when the car was issued (not just the handover report, as before).

24 September 2024

  1. Vehicle type thumbnails.
depending on the selected vehicle type, the mobile app and the handover report show a matching icon of a car, excavator or truck.

  2. Scheduler module expanded
Setting more than 1 alert threshold (e.g. 30, 7 and 1 day before), upcoming dates on the vehicle and user lists, minor fixes and improvements.

  3. Invite again and last activity
Quick "Invite again" and "Revoke access" shortcuts in the user details, plus the date and time of the user's last activity in the app.

  4. Forced mobile app update
We regularly expand our app, and for this reason mobile apps that are not updated may not work correctly. If you have an old version of the app, we will ask you to update to the latest version.

  5. Starter document templates
Every new user who creates an account will receive ready-made templates of a fleet policy and a vehicle custody agreement, which can be edited or deleted at any time.

4 September 2024

  1. Self-service collection and return of cars by drivers

If drivers hand the keys to company cars over to each other themselves, our app will require them to draw up a vehicle handover report on their smartphone.

  2. "How to take good photos" tips

We want creating reports in the app to be even easier (especially for new users). For this reason we have added contextual tips at every step of the process.

  3. New features in the driver app
Registration number, VIN, fuel card PIN and scheduler alerts on the home screen. Access to vehicle files and signed documents. The ability to collect and return shared cars without assistance.

  4. Different document templates for different employment types

If your organisation uses different employment types (B2B, employment contract, contract of mandate), you can now upload a separate template of agreements and terms to be signed when a car is issued, depending on the vehicle user's employment type.

  5. You do not have to take new photos every time
If the condition of the returned vehicle has not changed significantly, you do not have to take new photos of it. You can simply load the last known photos into the report.

14 August 2024

  1. Gas level on the handover report.

We are adding the ability to mark that a vehicle has an LPG system. If a car is fitted with an LPG system, you will be able to record its level at handover, and we will show it on the report!

  2. Choosing photos from the gallery.

If you want to add a report after the fact, you will be able to! Soon you will be able to add both damage photos and general vehicle photos directly from the phone gallery. This is a great help if, for some reason, you were unable to draw up the handover report in real time.

  3. Fuel card PIN
If vehicle users often call you to ask what the fuel card PIN is, they will soon stop. We will show them this field in the vehicle details in the mobile app!

  4. User's company on the handover report
If you issue vehicles to corporate customers and want the report to state which company the vehicle is issued to, we will soon add this field to the report, in the vehicle user's details.

  5. Choosing a fleet hub when adding a vehicle

You no longer have to move a vehicle by means of a handover to place it in the right fleet hub. You will set this field straight away when adding the vehicle.

  6. Minor improvements and fixes

    1. We will narrow the pool of documents for signature to those linked to the same company as the vehicle being issued.

    2. We will show the correct mileage unit in the details of a scheduler entry linked to a vehicle,

    3. We will improve how the progress bar for scheduler entries is drawn, so it starts from the mileage at the time the entry was added, rather than from 0.

    4. We will automate mileage retrieval from the gps.navifleet.pl app and retrieve it by matching the "Registration number" field, rather than by manual configuration as before.

    5. We will switch off automatic updating of the handover date and time when returning to a handover already in progress, because it is misleading.

    6. We will fix a bug related to rounding mileage on the handover report.

    7. We will allow scheduler entries to be added with a date and mileage in the past

    8. We will streamline adding scheduler entries with a "Save and add another" quick-add shortcut and by unlocking editing of the "Type" and "Linked object" fields.

10 July 2024

  1. Never miss an important date again
You can now enter any date in the app, and we will keep track of it for you. Dates can be entered for both a vehicle and a user, and defined by date or by mileage. Insurance policies, MOTs, rental agreements, services, calibrations, driving licence and qualification expiry dates - finally in one place! Read more about how the scheduler works and what its role is or go straight to how to enter important dates in the app for a vehicle or user.

  2. You no longer have to remind drivers about services and inspections
If you wish, we will send a notification to the relevant people in your company, as well as to the vehicle's current user.

  3. You no longer have to update odometer readings every month!
If you do not have telematics, every month you face filling in a spreadsheet based on drivers' declarations. You no longer have to do this manually, because vehicle users can enter readings in the app and you will see them in the panel. Read more about manual odometer reading updates.

Tip!

If you have Navifleet telematics, we have great news for you! You do not need to do literally anything to have up-to-date odometer readings for your vehicles in the Navifleet Manager app! Read more about how automatic odometer reading updates work.

18 June 2024

  1. Signing agreements and terms when a vehicle is issued
From now on you can sign a vehicle custody agreement, fleet policy or any other document online! Read here how to upload document templates for signature when a vehicle is issued.

  2. Instructions and leaflets for drivers
Any document, such as instructions on what to do in the event of an accident or a list of recommended tyre services, is available to all your users on their phones. Find out how to share various instructions and documents with drivers.

  3. Sharing vehicle-related documents with drivers
If drivers often ask you to share a scan of the insurance policy, registration certificate or calibration certificate, then thanks to adding any files to a vehicle they will always be visible to the vehicle's current users.

  4. Minor fixes and improvements:

    • The "Signed documents" tab is shown to the driver

    • Signed documents are sent to the vehicle user's e-mail address,

    • Documents signed at handover are shown in the web app,

14 May 2024

  1. Support for multiple companies
If the vehicles you manage formally belong to different companies, this feature is for you. It lets us show the details and logo of the company the vehicle belongs to on the handover report. Read more here about what Companies are and what their role is.

  2. Inviting other drivers and administrators to the app
With this feature you can invite drivers and other fleet managers to the app free of charge. Read more here about inviting drivers and administrators to the app.

  3. Adding a user during the handover process
You do not always have time to add a user before issuing a vehicle, so from now on, if the right user is not in the "Issue to:" field, you can add them without leaving the vehicle issue process.

  4. Minor fixes and improvements:

    • The "My vehicle" tab is shown to drivers in the mobile app,

    • The vehicle list is shown to administrators in the mobile app,

    • The user list is shown to administrators (with the option to add users),

    • The limit of displayed records in the web app has been increased from 10 to 100,
