How to start using e-TOLL with Navifleet
Updated: 16 December 2021
After purchasing the devices, you will receive login details for the Navifleet system. The devices will already be added in the system with generated business ID numbers. You will need these numbers when adding the devices in the IKK system. They can be found in the Tools -> E-TOLL/SENT DEVICES tab.

You can edit the device list yourself – give each device any name that makes it easier to identify and, optionally, the registration number of the vehicle in which the device is installed. This data is not sent to the e-TOLL system.
From this moment on, the devices start transmitting positions to the e-TOLL system. No additional actions are required in the Navifleet system.
At this stage, the journey is not yet being charged. To start this process, you need to complete the steps described below. What do you need to do yourself?
Register an account in the e-TOLL system at login.mf.gov.pl
After registering, carry out the following steps:
- Add a billing account and top it up.
- Add the vehicles that will be charged in the e-TOLL system.
- Add the devices.
- Assign the devices to the vehicles and activate them.
When adding a device, the system will ask for the business ID number. You can read this number in the Navifleet app (in the Tools -> E-TOLL/SENT DEVICES tab).
After assigning a device to a vehicle, you must activate it in that vehicle. Assigning alone is not enough, because many devices can be assigned to a vehicle, so you need to choose which one is to be active, i.e. which one sends GPS data to the e-TOLL system at a given moment.
The whole process of creating an account and configuring it is described in this guide: https://etoll.gov.pl/ciezarowe/rejestracja-w-e-toll/jak-zarejestrowac-sie-w-e-toll/
If all the steps have been completed correctly, the e-TOLL system is ready to work.It is good practice to also install the e-TOLL mobile app for your drivers, add it in the system as additional devices and link the registered vehicles to them. Many devices can be assigned to a vehicle, e.g. an OBU and apps on phones, but only one device can be active at a time. If the OBU needs servicing, you can quickly activate the previously assigned mobile app, which will take over sending data to the e-TOLL system.
